RCE Srinagar Organises Teacher Training Workshops on DRR Preparedness

Throughout April 2018, CEE Himalaya and RCE Srinagar, with financial support from the International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development (ICIMOD) and Give2Asia, organised four teacher training workshops (TTW) on Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) preparedness for the teachers of the Jarwal Block, situated in the Bahraich district in Uttar Pradesh.

Within Lagos State there are over 1,500 primary schools run outside the set standards of government primary schools, reaching those in isolated locations, such as unreachable settlements in swamps, providing students with housing and a formal education at low costs.

Asian Network for Promoting Teacher Education Discusses ESD in Teacher Capacity Building

In 2016, researchers from around East Asia proposed to further strengthen teacher education on education for sustainable development (ESD) through a research project looking at both pre-service and in-service teacher training programs.

Schools and Students: Join the Green Olympiad!

Participate in the Green Olympiad organised by TERI to increase environment awareness of students age 14 and above. Any school can participate. Examinations are on 30 August and 22 November 2016. Schools can opt for any one of these dates and all three levels will be conducted simultaneously. All participants will receive certificate of participation / merit / distinction based on their performance.
