New Video Highlights Trends of RCE Projects Conducted During the GAP

During the Global Action Programme (GAP) on ESD, from 2015-2019, RCEs conducted close to 480 projects across 46 countries. Research was recently conducted on these projects, both at a global and regional level, analysing the SDGs, themes, institutions, audiences and environments across the projects completed, all tied to SDG 4 (Quality Education).

2020 RCE Awards for Innovative Projects on Education for Sustainable Development

The Global RCE Service Centre at the United Nations University Institute for the Advanced Study of Sustainability (UNU-IAS) announces a call for nominations for the 9th annual RCE Awards. RCEs are encouraged to nominate one or more of their ESD projects for the award.

New Publication Celebrates Award-Winning RCE Project Contributions to ESD

The Education for Sustainable Development Project at UNU-IAS has today launched a new publication, 'RCE Contributions to a More Sustainable World: Celebrating Five Years of Innovative Projects on Education for Sustainable Development (2015-2019)'.

2020 RCE Applications

The Ubuntu Alliance, in its meeting in April 2006 in Yokohama, established the Committee of Peers for RCEs. This Committee reviews applications for new RCEs and provides recommendations to UNU during the RCE acknowledgement process. The United Nations University Institute for the Advanced Study of Sustainability (UNU-IAS) acts as Secretariat of the Ubuntu Alliance.
