10th African Regional Meeting Highlights Community-Based Resilience During COVID-19

The 10th African RCE Regional Meeting was held virtually (online), on 1 September and 15 September, 2020 under the theme 'Community-Based Resilience during Pandemic Disruption: The Role of African RCEs'. Hosted by RCE Minna, the two-part event saw 63 participants from 17 RCEs across 8 countries across the region attend.

Sustainability and Youth Leadership Conference

The 2030 Agenda for sustainable development is aimed towards 'transforming the world', targeting the eradication of poverty in all its forms and dimensions. The Agenda emphatically expresses the commitment by states to take bold and transformative steps to shift the world on to a sustainable and resilient path, while ensuring that no one is left behind. Youth inclusivity has therefore factored as an important feature of the SDGs. 

Webinar Marks the Celebration of ‘Green Consumer Day’ 2020

Webinar: Sustainable Lifestyles for a Green Recovery - COVID-19 and the SDGs

UNU-IAS will co-organise a webinar on the theme of Sustainable Lifestyles for a Green Recovery: COVID-19 and the SDGs, with Sophia University, the Ministry of the Environment Japan (MOEJ) and the Global Environment Outreach Centre (GEOC).
