A total of 159 researchers participated in the 8th International Conference on Environmental and Rural Development (ICERD) “Approaches to Environmental and Sustainable Development”, hosted by Sukhothai Thammathirat Open University (STOU) in Thailand on 25-26 February 2017.
Bridge to the World (BTW) is a flagship Youth Programme by RCE Tongyeong, South Korea for adolescents, who research and study sustainable development abroad. To celebrate BTW’s 10-year anniversary, RCE Tongyeong is hosting ‘The 2nd Bridge to the World International Youth Camp’ from 24 July - 5 August, 2017 at the Sejahtera Forest, Tongyeong, South Korea.
All seven Japanese RCEs attended the national meeting in 2017. Hosted by RCE Chubu, RCEs reported on their past activities and shared highlights and challenges from 2016.
