10th Asia Pacific RCE Meeting
2-4 November 2017, Delhi, India
RCE Delhi hosted the 10th Asia-Pacific RCE Regional Meeting (AP RCE Meeting) in New Delhi, India from 2 November 2017 in conjunction with the Symposium on ‘Sustainable Development Goals: from Goals to Action’ on 3 November, followed by the field trip on 4 November. All the events were hosted by RCE Delhi with the support of the United Nations University Institute for the Advanced Study of Sustainability (UNU-IAS).
RCEs made different case presentations during the symposium. In order to create a regional action plan, and to promote RCEs’ contributions to the GAP on ESD, the SDGs and other relevant processes, including IPBES and the Paris Agreement, the Secretariat asked each RCE to submit an updated action plan by using the template. The aim was to share planned activities of each RCE in the Asia-Pacific region, and to promote and upscale collaborations and activities of RCEs in the region. This will also allow UNU-IAS to consolidate and synergize activities in the Asia Pacific region.
The programme for the meeting and the symposium can be dowloaded here.
