Here is information Ziole has provided on the Youth Conference for Sustainability her RCE is participating in.: ISCUS, a partnership: UNILIVRE, UTFPR and RCE-Curitiba-Paraná Youth Committee.
We would like to remind you about ISCUS – International Students Conference on Urban Sustainability. The conference, that has the goal to exchange knowledge between students of different countries and to foment the research in the area of urban sustainability, will occur between the 24th and 25th of February 2014, in Curitiba-Brazil.  Nevertheless, the deadline registration for the submission of abstracts is December 15th, 2013. So, if you have the interest in presenting one of your projects at the conference, please pay attention at this deadline. If you just have the interest to participate as a listener, the registration can be occurred until February 17th, 2014. The value of the registration is R$70, 00 (around U$S 30, 00), that will be used in the achievement of a social project at Curitiba.
The themes of the conference will be: 1.       Water and sewage, 2.       Solid and organic residues, 3.       Climate change; 4.       Urban mobility;
5.       Environmental education; 6.       Sustainable energy; 7.       Green building; 8.       Sustainable behavior; 9.       Sustainable Curitiba (special roundtable for the presentation of works about Curitiba)
