RCE Hohhot
Overview
The Center for Sustainable Development of Inner Mongolia Normal University (RCE Hohhot) was established in 2005.
It has undertaken the work of promoting environment and sustainable development education after 13 years of development in the Inner Mongolia region including personnel training, organisation propaganda, academic research and project implementation. According to the regional reality, RCE Hohhot has made beneficial exploration and achieved remarkable achievements, as well as accumulated some successful experience with local characteristics. Now it has become the only high level, full function research training organisation in Inner Mongolia involved in personnel training and specialised talents cultivation, academic research, and sustainable development education.
Vision:
Based on regional economic development, to explore effective ways for sustainable development, to promote education around environment and sustainable development, and to make a leading demonstration role for China's sustainable development education.
Goals and objectives:
It has effectively assumed the functions of education academic research, project implementation and personnel training for the sustainable development of the whole region and even the whole country, and made greater contributions to the cause of education in China's sustainable development.

- Project on natural school curriculum resources development
- Project on Inner Mongolia Mingde campus cultural brand building
- Strategy research on Inner Mongolia ecological culture construction
- Develop and publish seven training textbooks and four monographs;
- Develop more than 100 training courses around 10,000 participants;
- Establish education professional committee on environment and sustainable development of Inner Mongolia with more than 300 members;
- Establish website of education center for sustainable development;
- Held ten regional, national and international academic conferences.
