Providing innovative and value-added solutions for conversion of food and organic waste to products.

Description:
The project has conducted 3R campaigns, food waste segregation workshops, hands-on composting training, showcase of the products at exhibitions. Two composting plants were established at UTM Sustainable Campus and FELDA Taib Andak (a planned rural village). This project has come out with a business model for FELDA Taib Andak Low Carbon Society Committee that can generate income from the compost. The income generated is used to fund and scale up more sustainable development related activities at the FELDA.
