5. Project description
Provide a short description of the project including strategies, regional challenges, aims and specific project activities.: 

Portland Community College once again opened up its annual faculty training to our region and faculty from colleges and universities across greater Portland.  The focus was on food security and included films, presentations, discussions, a tour of the learning garden, and meals using local, organic food.
