Provide a short description of the project including strategies, regional challenges, aims and specific project activities.: 

To support operations and programs, the Development Committee, with the support of an intern, submitted multiple letters of inquiry and five grant applications: Bullitt Foundation, to support operations and Executive Director salary (not successful); Portland Community College’s Green Initiative Fund for workshop development (received $6,000); Clackamas County’s Watershed Management Grant (received $4,000, for Fellow Zahra Golshani’s work - GPSEN is fiscal sponsor), Climate Change fellowship grant with Frank Granshaw (not received), and City of Portland for workshop development (not received).
