5. Project description
Provide a short description of the project including strategies, regional challenges, aims and specific project activities.: 

Led by sociology professor Bruce Podobnik, a student intern through PSU’s Student Sustainability Center, and numerous college students across the region, a comprehensive spreadsheet of faculty, students, and centers working with sustainability issues was created.  The student researchers highlighted faculty who are doing sustainability research, working on grants, and participating in community engagement.  The data will be included in our upcoming database (grant in process for funding) as well as be used for outreach for our Sustainability Symposium.

These are ongoing efforts to update our database and do outreach to our community. We are in the process of applying for a grant to create the database.
