  • Articulating information on Climate Change in Environment Information System Centre's Newsletter

  • Promoting Collaborations:

a) Facilitation of two Projects (with its network partners) namely, Towards Climate Resilient Livestock Production System in Punjab and Technological Adaptation for Gainful Utilization of Paddy Straw

b) Collaborative Capacity Building activities among RCE Chandigarh Partners:

  1. Ten Workshops in collaboration with GIZ, National Bank for Rural Development , Departments, Institutions, eco clubs of schools etc.

  2. Motivational visit to Science Express- Climate Change Special Train

  • Challenges :

    a)Identification of authentic information

    b)Data gaps in local information

    c)Continued Motivational factor for Key partners

    d)Linkage between partners

    Aim:

    Addressing the issue of Climate Change by inculcating knowledge & understanding about the issue through publication, disseminate the same through capacity building programs in collaborations and sustainable initiatives.

  1. Articulating information on Cliamte Change in Environment Syatem Centre's Newsletter

  2. 10 Capacity building programs and mobilization for visit to of Science Express – Climate Action Special (SECAS) in the region.

  3. Addressing the Climate Change Issue by undertaking project for sustainable livestock production and utilization of Paddy Straw in the region

  4. Establishing Global linkages by participation in CoP-21 in Paris.

The Project is ongoing and is promoting
a) social or personal development to focus on understanding the process of climate change and enhancing the abilities to achieve measurable and sustainable results through Publication on Climate Change.
