Dobong-gu is one of the 25 autonomous districts of Seoul and is located in the northeastern part of Seoul. The southern part of Dobong-gu is a continuous residential district in Seoul, and the northern part is a mountainous area, and houses are generally concentrated around Dobong-ro, and both sides of the road form a commercial area. As part of the 8th popular election, Dobong is developing its five visions for a better future: 1) convenient transportation and a growing development city, 2) vibrant economy and a city with a promising future, 3) warm companionship and a city that cares for welfare, 4) a life with rest and an attractive cultural city, 5) friendly governance and a city that communicates with empathy.
Description of sustainable development challenge(s) in the area the project addresses:
Project Neuru is operated by changing the theme every year. This year's grand theme is "A House that Saves the Earth", which connects SDG 7 and SDG 11.

Rationale:
Project Neuru is a global ESD youth collaborative project that utilizes the "photo-voice" research method to foster ecological literacy and glocal leadership among domestic and foreign youth as a specialized project connected with RCE Dobong-gu overseas.
Objectives:
1) Participants can understand the house that saves the Earth through the activities in each session.
2) Make a network with other participants from different countries or RCE cities and with diverse backgrounds through discussion and preparation for the presentations.

Activities and/or practices employed:
Project Neuru is divided into two groups. Group A (Elementary school students) will be held in the first to fifth session and Group B (middle school, high school, and undergraduate) will be held in the first to seventh sessions, and participating students will solve research questions depending on the photo-voice research method for each session. The given results are analyzed by RCE Dobong-gu and shared during the "small reporting" time during the Zoom meeting.

This year, many students from various RCE cities are getting various experiences via this project.
In Group A, for the first time, they used the collaborative drawing tool Aggio.io to create a collaborative project on the theme 'Housing for a Sustainable Future'.
Group B has divided into 3 teams (Green Buddies, Green Brains, Be Green) and has been actively engaged in activities up to the 6th session. Regarding the presentation on 'Housing Policies for a Sustainable Future' to be held in the 7th session, students are using platforms like Padlet and Zoom to collaborate, divide tasks, and discuss among themselves in order to prepare for the 7th session presentation.

Lessons learned:
Students who live in difficult environments may hesitate to take pictures of their 'residence'. To this end, the person in charge from each RCE city was asked to give other research questions so that all students could participate in the same position.
Relationship to other RCE activities:
RCE cities from 11 countries are participating in Project Neuru Season 3.
