Tottenham Trees: part of a global movement to protect our natural heritage Tottenham Trees is a branch of the Charter for Trees, Woods and People which will be launched in 2017, on the 800 anniversary of the Charter of the Forest. The vision of the Charter is a future in which the many benefits of trees and woods are understood, treasured and fully realised in all areas of society.

 

Tottenham Trees aims to raise awareness of Wangari Maathai, the Kenyan Nobel Peace Prize laureate and environmental activist, and her legacy, and to engage people through rooting the campaign in stories and memories.
