The overarching goal of the project is to contribute to the implementation of the Swedish policy for global development: “A common responsibility – Sweden’s Policy for a Global Development” (PGD).

In order to enhance Sweden’s contribution to a global sustainable development, it is crucial to provide Swedish actor’s access to ESD in different forms. It is also necessary to create awareness amongst actors in society at all levels that the PGD is based on cooperation and a coherent conduct with the two guiding perspectives stipulated in the PGD, the rights based perspective and the perspective of the poor.
To facilitate this process Baseline Consulting and CSR Sweden now aim to produce a Handbook including a PCD – assessment tool as a guide to public finance institutes and private corporations.
