1. Project title: 
Hand in Hand - Learning Together, Working Together
2. Project Description: 
Schools have significant multiplier effects upon local and regional economic and social activities. In 2010 the City of Marvao and the city of Nuremberg started the ComeniusRegio-project to discuss different experiences in education. The first aim of all partners is the development of the regional education system and to find solutions for the special needs of each region. The second goal is the founding of a European network for pupils.

Visitation of various vocational schools in Portugal,Guided city tour for the Portuguese partners by pupils in English language,Discussion about the difficult Nazi-Party-heritage in Nuremberg,Portugese language course in Nuremberg
11. Contribution to reforms and innovations: 
The project itself is not part of the ongoing innovation process of Nuremberg. For the partner Wirtschaftsschule the study, visits of the portugese partners are intrinsically innovative as is handling video conferences and a project website as well.

One partner in the project is the Städt. und Staatliche Wirtschaftsschule Nürnberg. The teachers and pupils are taking part in teacher trainings, video conferences and in project conferences.
