3. Core partners:
In 2006 when established as an RCE we had 46 formal partners who all signed a partnership agreement. In 2010 partners are mainly from the membership of the 3 working groups. HE Group - Most of the 10 higher education institutions have attended the periodic meetings, led by Leicester and Loughborough Universities. FE Group (Further or Vocational Education) - Most of the 30 FE institutions have participated in the ESD audit, graduate assistant placement scheme and bimonthly meetings. Leicester University and Leicester College have led the group, with administrative support from Leicester University. Schools Group - Most of the 9 local authorities have been represented by staff with responsibility for sustainable schools. Some voluntary organisations have also supported such as Skillshare International, Food and Farming, Woodcraft Folk. The Government Office for the East Midlands has been a core partner and funder of the Schools group. The East Midlands Development Agency, Groundwork East Midlands and StudentForce for Sustainability have supported the working groups and Management Group. 2012: A revised partnership is being formed including Universities, Further Education colleges, schools, local authorities, businesses and voluntary sector
4. Cooperation and communication :
