This program is designed to students at kindergarten which has been conducting since July 2010. The program has involved about 500 students from four kindergarten schools in Samarinda.

RCE provides various book titles that students will be able to take home everyday for School Calender year. Alongside with the book, students also bring home a journal log, which will be filled in by both students and parents. It will be used to monitor student progress in program. Reading time is expected night time before children go to bed. Moreover, Students will be given an award for their achievements for every 25 nights’ home reading program.

The major challenge of the program is lack of resources, including limited number of books, limited variant of book's tittle, and parents involvement to the program.,
