Welcome to the Asia-Pacific Continental Discussion Group!

The Asia-Pacific region is home to 47 RCEs (as of May 2014), which are jointly developing a common platform that identifies more strategic approaches for addressing regional sustainable challenges. Five thematic issues - biodiversity & traditional knowledge, youth, community & livelihood, formal education, disaster risk reduction – are identified in order to strengthen collaborations and partnerships among the Asia-Pacific RCE members.

This community is created to connect all the Asia-Pacific RCE members virtually to share your experiences and projects, exchange information and seek new partners for inter-RCEs join projects. It will be also used to make a preparatory discussion for the upcoming meetings such as the Asia-Pacific RCE Meeting and the Global RCE Conference.
