Changwon is a machinery industrial city located at the south end of Korea. Changwon is the first planned city of Korea where the city is adjusted into industrial, residential and green areas. As a result, Changwon boasts its pleasant living and natural environment despite it is an industrial city, and is well known as a city of education, environment, enterprise, health and culture/art thanks to its well organized city infrastructure and its sound industrial base. However, RCE Changwon is striving to overcome various problems typically experienced in a city, such as environmental pollution and unification of the residents etc due to further development and increases in population of Changwon.
