RCE Ogun
RCE Ogun is located in Ogun State, in the south-western geopolitical zone of Nigeria. The Ogun people are maily Egbas, Ijebus, and Aworis. They are also predominately farmers. Ogun is also one of the most industrialised cities in Nigeria, and is home to many manufacturing companies including Lafarge and Dangonte cement factories. These manufacturing plants are a source of environmental pollution and pose serious risks to the health and well being of the people. Besides environmental challenges, there is also the social challenge of inequality especially along gender lines as is the case of most places in Nigeria, being a patriarchal society.
