Socioeconomic and environmental characteristics of the area : 
Nizhny Novgorod city is the central agglomeration of Nizhny Novgorod region (province). It takes place on cross point of two well-known rivers on Russia: Volga river and Oka river. Nizhny Novgorod region (province) is located almost directly in the center of the European part of the Russian Federation, on the Western-European or Russian plain. It covers the territory of 76.6 thousand square kilometers with the population of 3411.0 thousand people that constitutes 2.4 per cent of the total population of Russia. The natural geological and biological landscape is about 300 thousand years old. Nizhny Novgorod city was found in 1221 and it is going to celebrate the 800 years jubilee in the coming future. During this long history Nizhny Novgorod accumulates a large cultural, social and symbolic capital that is safe by people of the local community.
Description of sustainable development challenge(s) in the area the project addresses: 
One of the challenges is related with traditions of closing industrial-and-military cities in the USSR. The project addresses toward practices of large public partnerships, transparency and collaboration activity with participation of different creative communities, students, city volunteers and municipal government. The project takes efforts for development of sustainable local public network for different kinds of creative and collaboration project activity.

Rationale: 
The public educational program includes yearly cycle of events during wish the several tasks are solved: public invitation and recruitment of participants and volunteers inti the year activity program of the project; public lectures on the topics of successful practices of the local civil partnerships and collaborations; workshops for creating actual creative projects for fields of ecology, tourism, public art; experts consulting sessions for the project groups; procedures of selection, developing and competition for the project groups; handing of certificates for participants and winners; promoting of selected projects toward elaboration of applications for financial support; public information support of the activity. The yearly cycle includes the following maim events: public opening event (end of September – beginning of October, 2018); public round table “Public art projects for Nizhny Novgorod agglomeration development” (November, 2018); multidisciplinary consulting session “Five Corners” (February, 2019); Public city exposition of social and public art projects “Generator- 2019” (April, 2019); public “Project offices” of the program and application processing (April – May, 2019); public losing event , finishing of the 2018-2019 cycle (June, 2019).
Objectives: 
The main goals: sustainable thinking, project thinking, project groups activity, project collaborations, development of the local market of municipal, NGO services, development of the “civil society – municipal government” local collaboration, development of sustainable network of the local public art and local social policy, development of the “civil society – commerce business” local collaboration in the field of local social policy.
Activities and/or practices employed: 
Local public project moderation, experts conducting, consulting for local civil activists and volunteers; student’s research projects in the field of ecology, including eco-tourism; training program for sustainable thinking on the ground of technology of cognitive modeling; youth eco-project actions “Second life of plastic” on the ground of secondary school No. 47.

More than 1000 participants and the network followers.
Results: 
During the new yearly cycle 2018-2019 it will be produced several kinds of results: - 5 public educational events: it is public lectures with topics on features of project activity and partnership; group of 60 scholars of the program: they are participants of the public lectures and project trainings; about 50 social projects, created by the scholars: one of the main task of the scholars is to discuss and to create practical social projects; about 30% of the projects – winners of the exposition “Generator- 2019”: this exposition is the platform for presentation of created projects and professional experts assess this presentations; about 10 projects will be granted by financial support.
Lessons learned: 
There are some troubles which are related with feature of students mode of living: they often take part in this program on a short time.
