9. Project Description Provide a short description of the project including regional challenges it addresses, its aims as well as project activities/strategies Allow text field (character count 500 words): 
The project is about providing skills and expertise in some important and relevant occupation in the society to about 3000 youth that are wandering the streets of mostly northern Nigeria, without education, occupation or even direction. These brand becomes potential recruits for Boko Haram as suicide bombers and politicians as political thugs. Furthermore, they are throughout their life a liability to the society and contribute only in the negative ways. This projects is believed to have the potential to reduce Boko Haram recruit and other vices and reduce to the minimum political thuggery in Nigeria

We have sofar trained about 5o students and 300 others are undergoing training at present in locations of the northern Nigeria

Describe Coordination and management of the project. Please also reflect how the RCE as a network organization has contributed to the project and the challenges involved, if any. Character count 400 words : 
Individuals and organizations were carrying out their activities individually but now all are under the umbrella of the RCE and projects and programs are being executed collectively 13. Before this project all the NGO and various individual were carrying out similar activities but individually without collectiveness. The RCE brought all the stakeholders together and ever since then, the activities of all were coordinated by the RCE as an organization. Though all stakeholders still have their individual activities where interest differs. But generally the RCE as an organization is involved in all activities collective or individual and were reshuffling is needed or deemed necessary is enforced without delay. Project and programmes may be carried by an individual or an NGO but when collective execution is required to make it faster, and more impressive the RCE take but coordinate and supervise within the frame work of the organization or individual but initiated it. If changes are required, that will be tabled to all stakeholders for scrutiny and eventual implementation.
Changes are the some of the youth involved withdraw from the program midway and one has to start all over again.

14. What are the current results of the project in terms of outputs (e.g. publications, developed practices, course materials)? Character count 300 words: 
At present there are more than 800 trainees in the scheme under survey and from different mentored NGO or individuals. Already more than 240 have graduated and are now training others. In the areas of carpentry, plumbing, paint processing, tile decoration.
15. What are the expected/confirmed outcomes (e.g. impact of the project) Character count 400 words: 
Impact of the project/projects is expected to reflect a reduced political thuggery, Boko haram recruitment, wards going about in streets, and above all sustainable livelihood and well being for all the youth involved.
16. Are there any unexpected/unplanned results achieved by your project? If yes, briefly describe or list them . Character count 200 words.: 
Yes there was: young boys will approach the RCE or a person related to the project and expresses their interest. Secondly, traditional rulers are beginning to secure contract jobs for our trainees and graduate in an effort to make their skill relevant.
17. What are the remaining challenges and/or limitations for further development? Character count 300 words.: 
Limitations are lack of funds and the number of jobless youth affected.
Secondly some trainers are asking for reward before trainee from us.
18. What is the project’s contribution to innovative and transformative educational processes for sustainable development (especially regarding formal and/ non-formal learning/research)? Character count 500 words: 
The project has demonstrated and expands options of new behavior. It has removed completely sense of alienation among the affected youth. It has also proved that informal and non formal forms of education are equally effective as the formal one and technically are even more effective. It becomes an ability determinant of individual. The project has exposed he opportunities laying latent in the abandoned youth for the societies to tap. It has provided a part of convergence for all cultures, class, sectors and future SD.
19.How can you scale up and mainstream ESD and SD practices of the project and enable it to contribute to the implementation of the Global Action Programme (GAP) as proposed by UNESCO? (max 300 words): 
. One can scale up ESD/ SD practices through this project by tackling the challenges of the project, provide a sustainable means of funding the project and have a policy that is backing it. It can be scaled up through linking up with other organizations and agencies that are doing similar project. It can further be scaled up through introducing other skills to the affected youth like GSM cell phone repairs, CCTV installation etc.
20. How does you project contribute institutional and policy reforms as part of sustainability change? Character count 500 words: 
The project created a new social class in the society which do not belong to all the traditional classes. The determinant compositions are not constant but dynamic and change more rapidly that in all other classes. This has attracted the attention of the policy makers and those in authority to start looking into the predicament of the youth involved. It has created a way of tackling one of the greatest menace of our time.
21. How does your project further improve capacities of various partners and stakeholders on the theme? Character count 500 words.: 
The project brought different stakeholders together which were doing their from within an enclave to now a wide and accepted huge regional project under the RCE . This led to the opportunities of meeting people, sharing ideas and having access to little grants, otherwise that may not have been possible before now. It has exposed the stakeholders to negotiation techniques, trade in of othe similar projects and tradeoffs of others too. It further exposed many to team work in a networked activity like that of the RCE.
23. What is novel about the project within the RCE network and what could other RCEs learn from this experience? (Answer only if relevant) Character count 250 words.: 
The novels things created are that:
i- A whole new approach to local issues that have global effect have been invented
ii- RCE and network of agencies project iplementation have achieved where others fail and are capable of bringing about change i the society
iii- A new social class is possible and it is indded in place.
RCE can learn that involving right stakeholders and tackling locally relevant problem has less obstacles with right target group identification. Community involvement is also of the essence
24. What is the significance of this project for the region? How important are its results for its particular project category? Character count 250 words.: 
The significant of the project to the region, the country and the world is that vulnerable youth will become productive and dependance and emigration to the west wil be the thing of the past in this region. Political thuggery will be reduced and also Terrorist recruitment among youth will be stopped.
