b) Successes of the RCE and lessons learned: Character count 300 words: 
• We received support from Global RCE Center in Japan – sending delegates to various international conferences in Brazil, Tokyo, South Africa and Yokohama for this year.etc
• Turning point came in 2011 after the NEMA workshop at Golf – when Gordon had come on ground.
• SIDA – UNEP Stipple – Pick a lecturer and introduce him / her to elements of ESD (Patricia Kariaga picked) - Had two weeks in Sweden for Introduction of the USAT tool.
• Global e – schools – brought about PALWECO Programme after a three day workshop at Golf Hotel and in Busia. To date they have signed a working relationship with MMUST.
• Confidence creating as a result of RCE – Geoffrey Barasa’s example as an education management resource specialist in Nairobi after interaction at the RCE Kakamega
• Sent a delegation of six to the 8th global RCE Conference in Nairobi 2013 (Gordon, Edward, Stephen, Eunice, Zippy and Hellen.
• We later initiated participation in the Vocational Schools Project that is ongoing and created more international linkages.
• Hellen was also able to attend the Abuja and India conferences as our youth representative; this exposure has totally changed her perspective and elevated her to the world platform in making her contributions.
• Geoffrey and Stephen participated in the Faith Based ESD Programme spearheaded by KOEE, and have proceeded to launch micro-projects on climate change and food security. They also launched the Kenya Interfaith Network for action on Environment (KINAE) – Kakamega-Vihiga chapter of which Stephen is a Co-chair.

c) Challenges experiences: Character count 300 words: 
• Fund raising - NEMA as coordinating arm is a challenge. Do a proposal with research to NEMA for funding and indicate any past flagship projects that the RCE has been involved in.
