5. Project description

Kawan Iskandar Malaysia (KIM) Program is a socio-economic development program for 14 “mukim” in Iskandar Malaysia that was approved in Oktober 2012.

Objective is to increase household income for targeted group (bottom 40%) which has a combined income of less than RM3,000 / month via suitable and sustainable income generation projects, typically unique strength of the local community and its surrounding nature.

Cooperative is the vehicle of choice for the community to move together.

Continuous guidance from IRDA plus physical infrastructure up to RM200K and bank loan of up to RM800k subjected to approved of business plan which was developed by the community.
