This annual conference explores the global link between the environment and social justice, offering workshops, teaching resources, an action fair and networking opportunities for educators of all grade-levels.

A number of GPSEN partners participated in last year’s Teach the World Conference, hosted by the World Affairs Council, on December 3, 2016.  Yashar Vasef, President of UNA Portland, Kim Smith, GPSEN Director, and Laura Kutner, Trash for Peace and GPSEN Board Member, all gave presentations, in addition to tabling to educate the community about our ESD work.

This event attracts a large number of teachers and students, with workshops, presentations, and tables throughout the day. Planning is in progress for this year's event.
