5. Project description
Provide a short description of the project including strategies, regional challenges, aims and specific project activities.: 

We celebrated United Nations Day 2016 with UNA Portland, at First Congregational United Church of Christ, on October 23.  Titled #With Refugees: One Humanity, Shared Responsibility, the focus was on refugees and included an inspiring and moving panel of refugees and activists. Our speakers ranged from a MTV and Huffington Post contributor to a high-level expert from the UN refugee agency. We ended with an audience-engaged conversation sponsored by Oregon Humanities.

Description: 
We had a full house, with over 50 participants, enlightening presentations, and a valuable discussion. Sadly, our exhibit did not arrive in time, so we were not able to share the pictures of refuguees.
