RCE Gippsland-2014

a) Criteria/ indicators used to assess aspects of RCE work/ project: Character count 300 words: 
RCE Gippsland conducts an annual evaluation at its annual meeting held in December each year. The 2013 evaluation by the full membership of the Steering Group Committee was facilitated by Liz Clay the Chairperson of the Gippsland Climate Change Network. Several questions were raised that the group responded to regarding activities and work engaged in. The Review over one and a half hours focused on future projections and planning
Participants broke up into two groups: 1. To determine/define RCE and its intentions, and 2. To reflect on how RCE Gippsland has met the UN RCE aims
b) Successes of the RCE and lessons learned: Character count 300 words: 
Successes - • Each group determined the various activities that are occurring in Gippsland identified from Sustainability Gippsland [SG] website were 34 in total. It was determined that the SG website detailed information about specific groups, their events, and how they can be contacted.


Lessons learned •Members are able to contact groups in their networks and improve this situation
c) Challenges experiences: Character count 300 words: 
Challenges were to discover and rectify what’s missing from this website. Stories of what Gippsland people are doing are not on the website – e.g. Uncle Albert’s story, Bunjaluk trail, Men’s Sheds, schools etc. was identified as the main issue and members were challenged to work through networks to assist with this.
An Open Space Forum at the Federation University Student Union venue was suggested as a major event in the new year.
