Provide a short description of the project including strategies, regional challenges, aims and specific project activities.: 

Introduction:

Wellness is more than being free from illness; it is a dynamic process of change and growth. UM believe with the power of education. We empower the community through knowledge transfer activities that has become our niche area using our Aedes-proof building elements research outputs, dengue prevention module, sustainable environmental knowledge and expertise; with the hope that the we fight Aedes in a holistic approach, aiming for sustainable wellness. Therefore, believe it is time the concept and platform of Teddy Bear Hospital should be extended.

Aims:   

1. To educate to the children and parents and virus on dengue virus.

2. To explain the children and parents on the transmission of the virus.

3. To expose to the children and parents on simple prevention concept that relates to the spread of the dengue through sustainable build environment that incorporates technical and health aspects.

Strategies:

Month 1: Design My Big Green World module, incorporated with Dengue Prevention Module and Teddy Bear Hospital program.

Month 2: Identify partners, volunteer coordination, administrative work and marketing, identify venue, design My Big Green World platform.

Month 3: Build My Big Green World platform.

Month 4: Train on volunteers

Month 5: Finalization

Month 6: Community empowerment execution and way forward.

Impact of project:

By fighting the root causes of dengue, this research will add significant value on mitigating other mosquito-borne diseases such as Zika, Malaria, and Chikungunya. Through this knowledge, it will benefit global community; it could save 1.8 billion (more than 70%) people at risk, hence could reduce the economic burden caused by mosquito-borne diseases, worldwide.
