2. Project Description:
Introduction
Lund operates in conjunction with the National Traffic Administration (Trafikverket), Kristianstad University and Lund Institute of Technology, a pilot project to increase accessibility for children to sport and leisure activities.

Planning and Implementation
Scientists Camilla Siotis and Stina Johansson have long experience in the areas of child development, road safety and public transport. Today's public transport is focused on commuting. Sports and cultural activities are scattered and often both at off-peak. The trend is that more and more parents transport their children to activities by car. The effects are lack of self-esteem, lesser local knowledge and limited movements. In addition car transport leads to reduced road safety, poor health and environment problems.
