7th Asia-Pacific Regional Conference

RCE Penang hosted the 7th RCE Asia-Pacific Meeting and International Symposium on “A Decade of Regional Centres of Expertise on ESD: Reflections and Advances in Asia-Pacific” from 26-28 August 2014. Over 50 participants from 16 RCEs and 2 candidate RCEs gathered in Penang, Malaysia and discussed various thematic as well as strategic issues focused on how Asia-Pacific RCEs can contribute to the Global Action Programme on ESD (GAP), an action oriented framework launched as a follow-up to the UN Decade of Education for Sustainable Development (DESD, 2005-2014).
