11th African RCE Meeting 2021

2 September, 2021, virtual/online 

The 11th African RCE Regional Meeting was held online on 2 September, 2021, co-hosted by RCE KwaZulu-Natal and RCE Makana and Rural Eastern Cape under the theme 'It's time for Africa: Sustainability Futures'.

The presentations highlighted collaborations between the RCEs in the region and the vast areas they are working on, including climate change, biodiversity, youth development, waste management and heritage and food. For further information, see a summary report prepared by RCE Makana and Rural Eastern Cape and RCE KwaZulu-Natal here.

The Global RCE Service Centres wishes to thank the teams at RCE KwaZulu-Natal and RCE Makana and Rural Eastern Cape for their wonderful efforts and organisation in making the 11th African RCE Meeting a success, and to all participants for their active participation and contributions to the meeting.
