The North East Calendar is a web application that each week brings sixty seconds of archive film footage to give visitors to participating website a flavour of the people, places, traditions and events that make the North East so special. The calendar includes footage from around the whole of the North East and is linked to various regional events or anniversaries.

Description: 
Following the ending of funding the project closed in March 2015. Over the course of its life the North East Calendar was viewed by thousands of people across the region and helped show people what life was like for different generations dating back to the early 20th century.
