Socioeconomic and environmental characteristics of the area : 
Kyrgyzstan is former Soviet Union Republic, which gained their independence in 1991, science that time the country in transition period. Kyrgyzstan education system is facing problems with luck of funds, no adequate equipment at classes, teachers and staff salaries is small, which is not motivated teachers to improve their skills and qualifications. Teachings methods quit old, and need to upgrading. Students also have no motivation to study and learn foreign languages. Nevertheless, education should be improved by introducing new Global agenda, teaching methods, capacity building programs and projects.
Description of sustainable development challenge(s) in the area the project addresses: 
Kyrgyzstan as part of Global World signed the Sustainable Development Goals in 2016, from that time country is on a way of introducing SDGs in different economic sectors and education system. There is a challenges for the country to introduce SDGs and Agenda 2030 for everyone started from Governmental officials to school children and local communities. With UNEP/UNDP support CAREC in 2017 experts from Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan prepared capacity building program on priority SDGs for this countries and developed lectures for governmental officials as online course.

Rationale: 
There is challenges for introducing SDGs in High eductation cullricullum for master students in Kyrgyz State University named after \I.Arabaev, Faculty geography, ecology and torism. Public Association RCE Kyrgyzstan is nowlocated on KSU on Faculty geography, ecology and tourism. With RCE Kyrgyztsan in partnership with Kyrgyz State University named by I.Arabaev became a part of ProSper.Net from October 2018.
Objectives: 
Project title:Introduction of SDG in master program in Arabaev Kyrgyz State University, faculty geography, ecology and tourism.
The project goal: Introduction sustainable development goals in high education curriculum.
Objectives:
1. Development of curriculum for master program.
2.Lecture preparations
3. Approbation and Lecturing
Activities and/or practices employed: 
1-2-month curriculum development
2-4-month lecture prparation
4-month approbation and lecturing
9-month student examination
Capacity building on SDGs for faculty staff, preparation and conducting presentation during winter seminar.
Size of academic audience: 
First year master students of Faculty geography, ecology and tourism 10 students. Capacity building winter seminar participated 50 teachers from High education Institution from Kyrgyzstan.
Results: 
During this semester master studen will gaine new knoweledges on:
- Global chalanges and sustainable development principles.
- SDGs.
- learn how the Global issues linked with local agenda.
- Use in practice SDGs
Lessons learned: 
Students are learning Global agenda and SDGs. New knowledge’s will help students to understand Global Challenges and will have new skills how to implement Global Sustainable Development Goals in practice. For the next year master students will start to write master thesis where could talk about SDGs implementation in Kyrgyzstan.
Key messages: 
Introducing SDGs in High education curriculum is a challenge for education system in Kyrgyzstan. New generation should be informing on time about Global issues, learn how to implement SDGs on local level in Kyrgyzstan.
Relationship to other RCE activities: 
Current project is continuing work of RCE Kyrgyzstan on development capacity building program for higher education system, capacity building for faculty staff and students.
Funding: 
Kyrgyz State University funded this project as salaries for teachers, there is no additional funds.
