Trang Province is a province in the southern part of Thailand. Its economy is characterized by services, agriculture, livestock, tourism, industry, and commerce. It has a great deal of ethnic and cultural diversity. It is a multicultural community with Thai, Chinese, Muslim, and Christian races. There are temples, shrines, and mosques. Trang is a tourist city because Trang has abundant natural attractions such as the sea, mountains, waterfalls, and caves. Trang's tourist attractions are numerous and attractive. The physical geography is a combination of plateaus and hills. The green mountains are the source of streams and rivers. Trang has more than 40 islands, such as Libong Island, which is known as a habitat for dugongs. Koh Kradan, with its crystal clear waters, was awarded the island with the most beautiful beach in the world in 2023.
Description of sustainable development challenge(s) in the area the project addresses:
Starting with elementary school children who are interested in this activity, leading them to training and practice, training students to have accurate multicultural information of the community, as well as the courage to express themselves.

Rationale:
RCE Trang has set activities that are consistent with education and society, economy, environment, and cooperation for sustainable development, such as training activities, study tours, exchanges, seminars, exhibitions, and other related activities. Ethnic diversity, the diversity of cultural traditions is another major challenge of RCE Trang. Coexistence to promote a peaceful and inclusive society for sustainable development is important in accordance with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, Goal 16 (SDG 16). The communities in Trang Municipality, especially the Ban Nong Yuan community, which is near Thesaban School 4 (Wat Matchim Bhumi), are a community of many ethnicities, including Thai, Chinese, Muslim, and Christian, with temples, shrines, mosques, and churches. It is a path of multicultural learning.
Objectives:
1 To organize activities to explore routes and study areas of learning resources for learning about multiculturalism, workshops to understand, communicate, and teach the little sermons for the way of life of multicultural communities.
2 To strengthen a multicultural society, the way of life of the community based on the diversity of races, learning about religious principles, religious sites, customs, traditions, and culture.
3 To organize a multicultural learning resource at Thesaban School 4.
3.4 To disseminate knowledge to children, youth, people, and RCE networks at all levels.

Results:
1 Children, youth, and people in Nong Yuan community and nearby areas understand and accept differences and can live together happily.
2 Children, youth, and people in Nong Yuan community and nearby areas interact well with each other and jointly conserve the community's culture, including being able to pass on knowledge to the next generation of youth.
3 There is a multicultural learning resource in Thesaban School 4 (Wat Matchim Bhumi) to provide services for children, youth, and people to study and research by themselves.
4 Disseminate and publicize multicultural society, integrating learning into community lifestyles for sustainable development for children, youth, people, and RCE networks at all levels.

Lessons learned:
Developing students to be knowledgeable and understanding about multiculturalism can also provide knowledge to tourists visiting Trang Province and be a model of peace to drive the achievement of sustainable development goals in line with global, national and local policies. And to ensure the sustainability of RCE Trang's operations, youth are involved in raising the level of activities and solving sustainable development issues (SDGs) in the social aspect.
