All individuals and organisations in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands who seek more sustainable practices through ESD are welcome to join and collaborate.

- Hosted the AfriAlliance workshop on Citizen Science for the southern African region
- Supported the Umzimvubu Catchment Project – catchment-wide sustainable living
- Supported NADEET (in Namibia). NADEET won the UNESCO award (US $ 50,000)
