RCE Greater Burlington
We are a network of educators, students, researchers, non-profits, government leaders, businesses, and community members committed to promoting education, training, and public awareness related to sustainability. The geographic extent of the Greater Burlington RCE is the Vermont portion of the Lake Champlain Basin.
Vision:
We seek to cultivate a just and sustainable future for the greater Burlington region by fostering educational initiatives that nurture the interdependence of people with healthy ecological systems.
Goals:
Our goal is to promote the work of sustainability educators and practitioners and encourage collaboration to strengthen existing and new education for sustainability initiatives. We are currently working at the intersection of SDG #3 (Good Health and Well-Being), SDG #4 (Quality Education), SDG #6 (Clean Water and Sanitation), and SDG #11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities).
