The Sustainability Summit was funded by Grupo Cementos de Chihuahua and co-organized with El Heraldo de Chihuahua.  Local and national speakers were present to addressa a broad range of sustainability-related issues.

Universidad Autónoma de Chihuahua graciously transported our RCE BMU Youth to attend the Summit.  For many of these youth, this was their first time to attend a summit designed to address sustainability-related issues.

Description: 
Students attended the Summit in September 2017, just prior to beginning the actual writing of the 'UN SDGs Teachers' Resource Book.' Though they had been working on the book for 9 months by then, many of our Young Authors returned from the summit very inspired to continue with the arduous task of putting together the aforementioned SDG teaching resource.
