RCE Kano, Bayero University Kano (BUK), the National Commission for Mass Literacy Adult, and Non-Formal Education, and the Centre for Renewable Energy and Action on Climate Change (CREACC) are organising the National Youth Conference on ESD on 3rd October 2017, at Bayero University, Kano, Nigeria. The conference will witness the inauguration of Environmental Sustainability Campus Ambassadors as well as the flagship project of a Campus Garden at the Faculty of Law of the university.

 

During the conferece, panel discussions will take place on “The Role of Youth in Achieving Sustainable Development: Prospects and Challenges in Nigeria”. There will also be a session on "Launching the Eco/Environmental Awareness Project", and a session to appoint the Environmental Sustainability Ambassadors. Certificates will be awarded to Campus Ambassadors during the conference. Finally participants will dicuss in round table format issues related to Youth and sustainable development as well as the Sustainable Developmernt Goals (SDGs).
