7. Participation of actors : 
Workshop sessions on development of project proposal and sharing of ideas on potential ESD projects could be help regularly, to share ideas, build capacity and inspire action. Partners are encouraged to submit funding proposals for activities through the RCE.

The involvement of members in international meetings, workshops and conferences, and engagement in further studies contribute and inspire new ideas and vision for the network
10. Competences and capabilities : 
The competencies developed include improved ability of members to collaborate, share knowledge & experiences, as well as deepening of members' knowledge of ESD. The Network largely presents the opportunity to attain/improve the competences through presentation and attendance of seminars & participation in workshops, environmental fairs and projects. The network enables members to benefit from each others' competencies and expertise.

13. Research & Development (R&D): 
This is an immerging dimension of our activity. A community development & biodiversity conservation project initiated this year involves a strong component of scientific and social research. Seminars have highlighted areas of potential social research.

The community development project involves collaboration of the RCE members with researchers from the National University of Lesotho and University of the Orange Free State, South Africa.
